Common questions
How much does land clearing cost per acre around Palo Pinto County?
Most clearing lands between $1,500 and $8,000 an acre, and where a job falls in that comes down to density and what you want done with the roots. Light brush and cedar runs $1,500 to $2,500 an acre. Medium density with trees and brush is $2,500 to $5,000. Heavy timber where the stumps come out too is $5,000 to $8,000 and up. Grubbing roots costs more than cutting tops. Those are ranges, not a quote — the real number comes after somebody stands on the ground, and that estimate is free and in writing.
