Owner-operated out of Graford, Texas

Precision Excavation & Demolition is Trey Ranft. The company works out of Graford, right at Possum Kingdom Lake, and covers Palo Pinto County and every county that touches it.

The whole idea behind it is simple: this kind of work is bought on trust, and trust is easier when there is one person accountable for the whole job. You call one number. One person looks at the property, writes the estimate, and is standing there when the work happens.

Our story

My passion for heavy equipment and earthmoving began at eight years old, riding along with my father at an excavation company. Sitting in the passenger seat of his dump truck, I took every opportunity to hop into the operator's seat of an old track loader and get to work.

That early enthusiasm quickly turned into a strong work ethic. By fourth grade, I launched a lawn care business, serving clients across the Possum Kingdom Lake area with the invaluable help of my mother, who drove me to job sites after school and during summer breaks until I earned my driver's license.

After graduating high school and successfully running that business for years, I transitioned into a full-time role at a local rock quarry, spending a decade operating machinery and loading commercial semi-trucks.

Armed with ten years of industrial quarry experience and a lifelong background in site operations, I founded Precision Excavation & Demolition to deliver dependable, high-quality service to our community.

The Precision difference

Our name reflects our core philosophy: meticulous attention to detail on every job site. For us, earthmoving and demolition are about far more than just finishing a project — they are about executing every phase correctly and safely. We believe that extra 10% of care and accuracy makes all the difference in delivering exceptional, lasting results for our clients.

What we hold ourselves to

• Free estimates, in writing, with haul-off included in the number
• If the price has to change, you hear it before the work happens
• The site is left clean and graded, not just finished
• The phone gets answered — seven days a week
