"Dirt work" is what most people out here call everything that moves ground: building a house or shop pad, cutting in a driveway, setting a culvert, digging a trench for water or power, cleaning out a tank, or just getting a lot level and draining the right way. Most jobs are two or three of those at once, and we price them as one job.
We are based in Graford at Possum Kingdom Lake and do dirt work across Palo Pinto County and every county that touches it — Parker, Jack, Young, Stephens, Erath and Hood. The estimate is free, it happens on your ground rather than off a photo, and you get it in writing with the haul-off included.

What counts as dirt work?
Anything that moves or shapes ground: building pads, driveways and culverts, site grading, trenching, stock tanks, drainage, land clearing and grubbing, and the cleanup after a demolition. If it involves a dozer, excavator or skid steer on your property, it is dirt work.
How much does dirt work cost around Graford and Palo Pinto County?
It depends on the job, so here are the ranges we actually work in. A house or shop pad runs about $4,000 to $15,000 and up. A driveway is $1,500 to $7,500 and up. Residential site and foundation prep is $3,500 to $12,000 and up. Rough grading on large acreage is $2,500 to $6,000 and up per acre. Every job is priced on site and in writing.
Do you do small dirt work jobs?
Yes. One culvert, a short drive repair, a single pad or a load of dirt spread are all welcome. Small jobs are usually how a long working relationship starts.
